The Attack 6" MicroFlex1 1Ply Clear Drum Head is suited to orchestral players jazz drummers and detailed low-volume setups. Built from Attacks 7 mil Dynaflex film this thin single-ply head responds quickly to light touches making it especially useful for pianissimo playing. You get a bright melodic tone with plenty of sensitivity so subtle dynamics come through clearly. Its also commonly used as a resonant tom head where its open character helps shells speak more naturally.The MicroFlex series is known for offering the longest sustain in Attacks range helped along by the pressure-fitted steel hoop. This hoop adds extra mass holding the head firmly in place while extending sustain and tightening tonal focus.
